    $27M Oxford station opens for all modes of transportation, is ‘future-ready’ for Amtrak
    Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force officers found and confiscated on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.6 grams of fentanyl, 70 pressed pills and $10,000 (pictured).     2 Hamilton men arrested after meth, fentanyl recovered in undercover operation
    Staff Sgt. Fred E. Brown, of Hamilton, was killed on March 15, 1969, in action during Vietnam. He saved three fellow soldiers during a firefight with the enemy, then dove on a grenade thrown in their direction. He was awarded the U.S. Army's Distinguished Service Cross. He will be honored on Saturday, Nov. 8, with a dedication of a flagpole in Bailey Square. CONTRIBUTED

    Hamilton gets just under $6M for road, infrastructure projects
    It's likely to be three months before new information is released on the proposed data center project in Hamilton. That information is expected to tell the city, and residents, how much energy could be supplied to a 29-acre site off Grand Boulevard, the type of infrastructure need to supply that electric, and potential costs.
